My family members and I transferred to the United States in 2014 We selected Memphis as our 2nd home to begin fresh and build a better future.
When I finished senior high school in 2020, I chose to join the Military Get so I can function permanent to aid sustain my family monetarily. Along the road, my parents constantly reminded me of the relevance of an university level. Truthfully, I dealt with the choice between picking job over institution.
That changed when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my degree 100 % online from an approved, across the country identified Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to balance job, life, and education. As soon as I enrolled, I knew I made the appropriate selection.
As an online student, I remained involved with campus life through career fairs and signing up with pupil organizations like the Culture of Personnel Administration. I intended to get one of the most out of my college experience and get in touch with people who shared my enthusiasm for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of loss semester. Many thanks to the support and framework of UofM International, I was able to end up strong, also making the Dean’s List. I’m taking 4 classes while offering on active duty, and I’m happy to claim I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to offer my country, support my family members, and earn my level implies the globe to me. I feel ready to take on whatever comes next.
